On This Saturday, July 24th, 2021 at Saint John’s Cathedral in Rutana Diocese, took place the ceremonies of awarding certificates to the 16 candidates who have validated the training in the adult literacy program.

Among them 15 were women and only one man. This adult literacy program is a program initiated by the Mothers’ Union department of the Anglican Diocese of Rutana. The ceremonies were enhanced by the Dean of the Cathedral and other pastors and Mothers’ Union President took the opportunity to invite anyone who did not have a chance to attend school to come and register to be able to continue this training for the next round of training because this adult literacy program has a capital importance for the family and the Church, in particular for reading the holy scriptures and for helping family projects growth.
